Fluid Conditioning Products' mission is to provide our customers with custom-engineered solutions for high performance filtration applications. We achieve this mission by meeting rigorous specifications and challenging filtration performance standards. Because of our certified processing capabilities some of our customers ask FCP to perform sub-contract work, for example Welding, to support their own manufacturing operations.
With over 36 years of welding experience, FCP is qualified to perform "Sub Safe Level 1" welding for the submarine industry. This is the most demanding standard that the welding industry can attain. For solid metal parts FCP primarily uses TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. We also perform spot welding, capacitive discharge welding and underwater resistance welding. Whether you need a seam, a spot, or a miniature tack weld, we have the process technology to meet your needs.
We provide independent weld testing of our work to document the integrity of the process. This can include penetrant testing, visual inspection, radiography and X-Ray examination to provide assurance that weld integrity has been maintained.
FCP routinely welds assemblies smaller than a dime and can handle large assemblies up to 1500 lbs. We work both with common metals such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum, and also with Nickel Alloys (Monel, Inconel, and Copper Nickel).
